Eric Lefkofsky is the son of a structural engineer father and a schoolteacher mother, and he graduated from Southfield-Lathrup High School in 1987. After receiving his high school education, he went on to study at the University of Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1991, with honors. Following the schooling that he received at the University of Michigan, he went on to continue his education. Eager to learn more, he studied at the University of Michigan Law School. Giving is something that Eric Lefkofsky is passionate about, and he and his wife founded the Lefkofsky Foundation together to help those who need their assistance. This trust fund is something that was put together to be of support to a variety of causes around the world, with a focus on children. In addition to the foundation that he formed with his wife, Eric Lefkofsky also joined The Giving Pledge in 2013.
